What should I expect during my first physiotherapy session?

Your first session will include an in-depth assessment, where your physiotherapist will discuss your medical history, lifestyle, and specific issues. From there, a treatment plan will be developed to help you achieve your recovery goals.

Do I need a referral for physiotherapy?

No referral is needed for a consultation.

Does physiotherapy work for chronic pain?

Yes! Physiotherapy is an effective treatment for managing and alleviating chronic pain. Our physiotherapists will work with you to develop a long-term plan to improve your quality of life.

Do you offer Home Visits?

Yes we do assist with treatments at home for patients that are unable to drive within a 5km radius from our practice. These are 30mins long, and an additional cost is incurred for travel.

How long are your treatment sessions?

First sessions usually require 45mins so that we have sufficient time to assess and treat. Follow up appointments depend on the condition and are often advised by the physio as to whether 30 or 45mins is required to be able to treat effectively.
